Anthony J. Suwanski, "Tony" and "Sophie", Sophie T. Jagodowski were an amazing couple who gave and gave to others,
not just family. Tony was know to bring fruits to less fortunates in his neighborhood in his earliest teenage years when he
worked at a fruit market. When an adult he worked in a foundry as a machinist. During WWll he formed heavy equipment and
parts for the war effort. As father of 3 boys and a daughter the family was raised to give to neighbors, greatly because
although quite poor ourselves, there always seemed to be enough food or clothes to provide to those not as blessed as us.
Dad made coffee with grounds floated in boiling water. He made French fries by burning hand cut potato slices on the hot
stove flat surfaces with ton of salt that had to be carefully cleaned thereafter. He was once arrested for "withholding" a
neighbor from striking a young boy for entering the neighbor''s gated yard to retrieve a softball. He drank VO highballs,
cheap wine and danced a fantastic polka and a romantic slow waltz. He showed his family how to live integrity and silently
went to his eternal reward when his youngest son was still in eighth grade. He was a man that everyone and anyone would
have loved to meet.He was a man who would be proud of his family and would show great joy with his grandchildren and
great-grandchildren. Tony left us way to soon but his memories live on.
